Our most requested northern route and the easiest for a fully loaded Hiace — metalled road all the way to Naran, with Babusar open roughly June to late October.
Chilas – Astore Side · 10 stops · 4–5 nights
Beyond Chilas the Hiace covers the main highway and Astore road. Fairy Meadows, Rama Lake and Deosai are completed by local jeep, which we arrange for you.
Gilgit – Hunza Side · 14 stops · 5–7 nights
The Karakoram Highway run. The road is wide and well surfaced up to Khunjerab, so the Hiace is comfortable throughout. Passports are required for the Sost and Khunjerab leg.
Skardu Side · 11 stops · 5–7 nights
Open year round. The Hiace handles Skardu city, the Kachura lakes and Shigar. Basho, Deosai and Hushe are switched to 4×4 for the final tracks.
